This is a truly spectacular art-to-wear coat/jacket from an amazing estate collection of clothing. Indigo batik laboriously added patchwork, fabulous needlepoint cuffs, sleeve ends, and interior pocket detail (the jacket reverses to a black jacket with lovely detail at the buttons). Hand-printed batik denim indigo(feels like linen). This is bright, beautiful and very reminiscent of the famed Mieko Mitz..
